Education Details
Technician Grade III: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Standard) along with an ITI certificate in a relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institution, or have completed an Act Apprenticeship.
Technician Grade I Signal: Candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or possess a relevant Diploma/Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
Salary
- Technician Grade I Signal: Placed in Pay Level 5, starting at an initial basic pay of ₹29,200/- per month, plus applicable allowances.
- Technician Grade III: Placed in Pay Level 2, starting at an initial basic pay of ₹19,900/- per month, plus applicable allowances.
Age Limit
- Technician Grade III: Candidates must be between 18 to 30 years of age.
- Technician Grade I Signal: Candidates must be between 18 to 33 years of age.
Note: Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (OBC, SC, ST, PwD) as per standard government norms.
Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): An online objective-type examination to test technical knowledge and general aptitude.
