SBI Retired Bank Officer Notification 2026 Education & Experience Details
Education: As applicants are retired SBI officers, no specific educational qualifications are mandated.
Eligible Grades: The officer must have retired as MMGS-II, MMGS-III, or SMGS-IV with an unblemished service record.
Retirement Criteria: Officers must have retired from the Bank’s service only on attaining superannuation at the age of 60 years.
Exclusions: Officers who voluntarily retired, resigned, were suspended, or left the Bank before superannuation are not eligible.
Track Record: Must have a good track record of performance, deep knowledge of the Bank’s systems, and maintain good health without any major ailments.
SBI Retired Bank Officer Salary
Selected candidates will receive fixed monthly remuneration based on their retirement grade:
MMGS-II: Rs. 45,000/-
MMGS-III: Rs. 45,000/-
SMGS-IV: Rs. 50,000/-
Age Limit
Maximum Age: As of 31.03.2026, the candidate’s age should not be more than 63 years.
Tenure: The engagement shall be up to a maximum age of 65 years, subject to satisfactory performance and renewal.

Selection Process

Interview & Merit List: Shortlisted candidates will face an interview carrying 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared in descending order of scores obtained in the interview only. If there is a tie, older candidates will be ranked higher.
