AP NMMS Scholarship 2026-27 Apply Online, Exam Dates

The AP NMMS (National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship) Application Form begins on 11 September 2026. The last Date to submit the AP NMMS Application Form 2026-27 is 27 October 2026. The AP NMMS application fee for BC and general category candidates is 100/-, and the AP NMMS application fee for SC and ST candidates is 50/-. he Directorate of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, has released the official notification for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) Examination for the 2026–27 academic session. This centrally sponsored scholarship scheme provides financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections studying in recognized government and local body schools across the state.

Students currently studying in Class VIII can apply online through their respective school Headmasters on the official portal.

Eligibility Criteria

• Academic Qualification: Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (for OC/BC) or 50% marks (for SC/ST), or an equivalent grade of B+ for all categories, in the Class VII annual examination during the 2025–26 academic year.
• Eligible Institutions: Students must be enrolled in Class VIII in Government, Local Body (ZP/Municipal), Government Aided, MPUP (running Class 8), or AP Model Schools (Day scholars only).
• Parental Income: The total annual income of both parents combined must not exceed Rs. 3,50,000/- from all sources. Candidates must produce a valid Annual Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar/MRO.
• Caste Certificate: Candidates claiming reservation must submit an original or attested caste certificate issued by the MRO to their school Headmaster. SC applicants must specify their group (SC Group 1, Group 2, or Group 3).

Syllabus & Examination Pattern

• Curriculum Coverage: The test will cover the academic syllabus of Class VII (full year 2025–26) and Class VIII (academic year 2026–27, syllabus taught up to October).
• Test Medium: Question papers will be available in Telugu, English, and Urdu media.

Registration Fee & Payment Mode

• OC and BC Candidates: Rs. 100/-
• SC and ST Candidates: Rs. 50/-
• Payment Mode: The fee must be paid strictly through SBI Collect following the user manual on the official website. Demand Drafts (DDs) and offline cash submissions are not accepted.

How to Apply

1. Eligible students must contact their respective School Headmaster and submit necessary documents, including Class VII marks statements, MRO-issued Income Certificate, and Caste Certificate.
2. The School Headmaster will log in to the official portal (bse.ap.gov.in) using their school credentials.
3. Fill in student particulars, verify data against school records, and upload the application forms before October 12, 2026.
4. Complete the fee remittance via SBI Collect on or before October 13, 2026.
5. Download and print the Nominal Rolls (NR) along with fee receipts and enclose attested copies of certificates.
6. Submit the final nominal rolls and document sets to the office of the respective District Educational Officer (DEO) by October 14, 2026.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ డైరెక్టరేట్ ఆఫ్ గవర్నమెంట్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్స్ 2026-27 విద్యా సంవత్సరానికి నేషనల్ మీన్స్-కమ్-మెరిట్ స్కాలర్‌షిప్ స్కీమ్ (NMMS) పరీక్ష కోసం అధికారిక నోటిఫికేషన్‌ను విడుదల చేసింది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా గుర్తింపు పొందిన ప్రభుత్వ మరియు స్థానిక సంస్థల పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుతున్న ఆర్థికంగా వెనుకబడిన ప్రతిభావంతులైన విద్యార్థులకు ఈ స్కాలర్‌షిప్ పథకం ద్వారా ఆర్థిక సహాయం అందించబడుతుంది. ప్రస్తుతం 8వ తరగతి చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులు తమ పాఠశాల ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుల ద్వారా అధికారిక వెబ్‌సైట్‌లో ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాలి.

అర్హతలు (Eligibility Criteria)

• విద్యా అర్హత: 2025-26 విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో 7వ తరగతి వార్షిక పరీక్షలో OC/BC విద్యార్థులు కనీసం 55% మార్కులు, SC/ST విద్యార్థులు కనీసం 50% మార్కులు లేదా అన్ని వర్గాల వారికి సమానమైన గ్రేడ్ (B+) సాధించి ఉండాలి.
• అర్హత గల పాఠశాలలు: విద్యార్థులు ప్రభుత్వ, స్థానిక సంస్థల (ZP/మున్సిపల్), ప్రభుత్వ ఎయిడెడ్, ఏపీ మోడల్ (డే స్కాలర్స్ మాత్రమే), లేదా MPUP (8వ తరగతి నడుస్తున్న) పాఠశాలల్లో మాత్రమే చదువుతూ ఉండాలి.
• తల్లిదండ్రుల ఆదాయం: విద్యార్థి తల్లిదండ్రుల (ఇద్దరిదీ కలిపి) వార్షిక ఆదాయం అన్ని మూలాల ద్వారా రూ. 3,50,000/- కంటే తక్కువ ఉండాలి. దీని కోసం MRO జారీ చేసిన తాజా ఒరిజినల్ లేదా అటెస్టెడ్ వార్షిక ఆదాయ ధృవీకరణ పత్రాన్ని సమర్పించాలి.
• కుల ధృవీకరణ పత్రం: అభ్యర్థులు MRO జారీ చేసిన ఒరిజినల్ లేదా అటెస్టెడ్ కుల ధృవీకరణ పత్రాన్ని మరియు ఆదాయ ధృవీకరణ పత్రాన్ని ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుడికి సమర్పించాలి. SC అభ్యర్థులు తమ సర్టిఫికెట్‌లో గ్రూప్‌ను (SC గ్రూప్ 1/ SC గ్రూప్ 2/ SC గ్రూప్ 3) తప్పనిసరిగా పేర్కొనాలి.
