The 7,500 Constable (GD) posts are categorized based on the armed force branches:
1. Constable (GD) – Special Armed Force (Male Candidates Only): 700 Posts
2. Constable (GD) – Except Special Armed Force: 6,800 Posts

Application Fee Structure
The total application fee comprises the ESB examination fee and the police department fee. An additional MP Online portal fee of ₹60 is applicable (₹20 for registered citizen users logging in directly).
• Unreserved (UR) Candidates: ₹700 (₹500 ESB Fee + ₹200 Department Fee)
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS Candidates (MP Domicile Only): ₹350 (₹250 ESB Fee + ₹100 Department Fee)
Key Eligibility & Guidelines
• Domicile Status: Candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply but will solely be considered under the Unreserved (Open) category. Reservation benefits (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) are strictly limited to permanent residents (domiciles) of Madhya Pradesh.
• Employment Registration: It is mandatory for all applicants to have an active and valid registration in the Employment Exchange of Madhya Pradesh State.
• Mandatory Identification: Aadhaar registration is compulsory. Multi-level biometric verification (where Aadhaar must be unlocked) will be done at the examination center. A valid original photo ID (Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport, or verified E-Aadhaar) must be carried to the exam hall.
Exam Pattern & Schedule
The computer-based online exam will begin on November 19, 2026, and will be held in two shifts:
• Shift 1: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Reporting time: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM)
• Shift 2: 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM (Reporting time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM)
Note: 10 minutes (9:50 AM to 10:00 AM / 2:50 PM to 3:00 PM) will be allocated strictly for reading important instructions before the exam starts.
