TNCMTSE JAN 2025  Eligibility Criteria

  • Grade & Schooling: Only students currently enrolled in Class 10 in Tamil Nadu Government Schools under the State Board curriculum are eligible.

  • Selection Quota: A total of 1,000 students (500 boys and 500 girls) are selected state-wide based on merit.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Financial Reward: Selected students receive a scholarship of ₹10,000 per year.

  • Duration: The scholarship is typically provided annually until the student completes their Undergraduate (UG) degree, provided they continue their studies within the state.

TNCMTSE JAN 2025 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

The examination consists of two objective-type (MCQ) papers conducted on the same day:

  • Syllabus: The questions are based on the Class 9 and Class 10 Tamil Nadu State Board textbooks.

  • Medium: The question paper is available in both Tamil and English.

Application Process

  1. Form Download: Students can download the application form from the official website: www.dge.tn.gov.in.

  2. Fee: A nominal examination fee of ₹50 is required.

  3. Submission: The completed application form and fee must be submitted to the respective School Headmaster.

  4. Verification: Schools will verify the student details through the EMIS portal before final submission to the DGE.
