UPSSSC ASO Recruitment 2026 Education Details
To be eligible for the ASO and ARO posts, candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria:
PET Qualification: Candidates must possess a valid UPSSSC PET-2025 scorecard.
Degree: A Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics, or Statistics from a recognized university.
Computer Certification: An ‘O’ Level diploma in Computer from DOEACC Society (NIELIT) or an equivalent recognized computer certificate (duration of minimum one year).
UPSSSC Assistant Statistical Officer Salary
Selected candidates will receive a highly competitive remuneration package. The posts fall under Pay Level-6. The basic salary structure ranges from Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800, with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200. Under the revised pay matrix, the salary ranges from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month. Additionally, candidates will be entitled to government perks, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and medical facilities.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of the cut-off date mentioned in the official notification. Age relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) as per the Uttar Pradesh state government rules.
Selection Process
The UPSSSC will conduct a multi-stage process to select the most suitable candidates:
