Vacancy Details

The Assam Co-operative Apex Bank has announced 150 vacancies for the Assistant cadre to strengthen its workforce and streamline banking operations across the state. Detailed category-wise seat reservations will be allocated strictly in accordance with government norms.

Education Details

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
• A valid Computer Proficiency Certificate is mandatory and demonstrates strong foundational knowledge of modern computer applications.
• Applicants must be well-conversant in the local language of Assam.

Salary

Selected candidates will be placed on a highly competitive pay scale ranging from Rs. 18,730 to Rs. 68,040, alongside a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,400. Additionally, employees will be entitled to standard bank perks and allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Medical Allowances, making it a highly lucrative package.

• Maximum Age: 38 Years

(Note: The age limit is calculated as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation for reserved categories such as SC, ST, and OBC will be applicable as per Assam state government rules).

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a two-tier merit evaluation process:

1. Written Examination: An objective-type test assessing candidates on General Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, and Numerical Ability. 
2. Personal Interview: Candidates who successfully clear the written test cut-off will be shortlisted and invited for an interview round to determine the final merit list.
