Shakti Scholarship 2026-27: The Swathi Kantamani Charitable Trust has officially launched the Shakti Scholarship 2026-27, a transformative educational initiative dedicated to empowering tribal girl students across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Designed to break the cycle of educational discontinuity caused by financial or social barriers, this program provides extensive, long-term support starting from Class 11 and extending through Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) studies.
About The Program
The Shakti Scholarship Program is envisioned as a holistic educational support system rather than a standard financial aid scheme. It specifically targets vulnerable tribal girl students to prevent academic dropouts during critical transitional years. By combining annual monetary assistance with a structured Scholar Development Programme, the initiative ensures that candidates are not only funded but also nurtured. The program is built to address geographic and social challenges by providing mentorship, career guidance, and skill enhancement. A distinct feature of this initiative is its focus on students who can communicate in Telugu, reflecting a deeply localized commitment to fostering long-term educational and professional success within the region.
