BBMB Apprentice 2026 Vacancy Details

BBMB is looking to fill a total of 45 ITI apprentice positions across six distinct trades. The highest number of openings are available for the Electrician and PASAA trades, offering excellent technical exposure for aspiring candidates.

Education Details

To be eligible, candidates must have passed their 10th-class matriculation examination with a minimum of 40% marks from a recognized board. Furthermore, applicants must possess a valid National Trade Certificate (ITI pass certificate) in the respective trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). Note: Having an Aadhaar card is compulsory for registration.

Salary

The official notification does not specify a precise monetary stipend amount; however, the selected candidates will receive a standard monthly stipend strictly following the rules laid out in the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and its subsequent amendments.

Age Limit

The minimum and maximum age criteria for the applicants will be governed entirely by the guidelines specified under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and its timely amendments.

Selection Process

The selection process is highly transparent and purely merit-based, with no written examination or personal interview. The final merit list will be formulated based on the total percentage of marks obtained by the candidate, allocated as follows:

• 30% weightage to the 10th class examination marks.

• 70% weightage to the ITI course marks.

Preference in Selection: 25% of seats for each trade are reserved to give preference to local candidates possessing a residency certificate from Mandi and Bilaspur districts (HP), followed by candidates from the rest of Himachal Pradesh.
