• Primitive Tribe Reservation: Out of the 43 vacancies reserved for the ST category under the Health Supervisor post, 01 vacancy is explicitly earmarked/backlogged for Primitive Tribe candidates.

• Horizontal Reservation: The 16 vacancies indicated for women are adjusted horizontally within their respective vertical reservation categories.

• EBC (Annexure-I) & BC (Annexure-II) (Male): 37 Years

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) or OMR sheets. It features two distinct stages: a Preliminary Exam and a Main Exam. However, if the total number of applicants remains under 50,000, the commission may bypass the Prelims and conduct the Main Examination directly.

Every correct response adds 3 marks, whereas an incorrect response results in a penalty deduction of 1 mark.

Stage 1: Preliminary Exam (Duration: 2 Hours)

A single paper comprising 120 multiple-choice questions:

• General Studies: 30 Questions

• Jharkhand GK: 60 Questions

• General Mathematics: 10 Questions

• General Science: 10 Questions

• Mental Ability / Reasoning: 10 Questions

Stage 2: Main Exam (Three separate papers, 2 hours each)

• Paper 1 (Language Knowledge): 120 Questions (60 Hindi + 60 English). This is a qualifying paper requiring a minimum score of 30%. Marks will not be counted toward final merit rankings.

• Paper 2 (Regional/Tribal Language): 100 Questions on a selected local language (e.g., Hindi, English, Urdu, Santhali, Mundari, etc.). Minimum qualifying marks: 30%.

• Paper 3 (General Knowledge): 120 Questions covering General Studies (30), Jharkhand GK (40), Science (20), Math (10), Reasoning (10), and Basic Computer Knowledge (10). Minimum qualifying marks: 30%.
