Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications from an AICTE/UGC-approved institution:

  • Engineering Streams (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, IT, Civil): Full-time B.E./B.Tech. degree (minimum 4-year duration after HSSLC, or 3-year lateral entry after Diploma) in the respective discipline. General/OBC candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam, while SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 50% marks.

  • Human Resource (HR) Stream: 2-year full-time MBA or PGDM degree specializing in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations. General/OBC candidates must have at least 60% marks, while SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 55% marks.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive a competitive pay package with standard dynamic allowances admissible to Assam State Government employees:

  • Pay Scale: Rs. 37,300/- to Rs. 1,12,000/- per month

  • Grade Pay: Rs. 14,200/- per month

Age Limit (as of 01-01-2026)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years

  • Maximum Age: 38 years

Upper Age Relaxations:

  • SC / ST: Relaxable by 5 years (up to 43 years)

  • OBC / MOBC: Relaxable by 3 years (up to 41 years)
