Role & Posting Details
The Junior Officer (Business Promotion Officer) position is a target-driven sales and relationship profile focused on mobilizing retail asset and liability products. Selected candidates will initially be engaged for a three-year contract, with opportunities for regular absorption into Assistant Manager (Scale I) based on merit and performance reviews.

SIB Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification & Experience Criteria
- Academic Qualification: Regular Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Commercial Bank or NBFC dealing in retail assets or liability banking products as on July 31, 2026.
- Ineligibility: Candidates who previously attended the Group Discussion/Personal Interview for the Junior Officer role under earlier notifications and were not included in the final select list are not eligible to apply.
Salary & Compensation Details
Selected officers are entitled to an attractive annual package along with health insurance coverage and monthly location-based special allowances:
- Total Annual CTC: ₹7.85 Lakhs per annum at the time of joining.
- Fixed CTC: ₹4.49 Lakhs (including NPS employer contribution).
- Performance-Linked Variable Pay: ₹2.88 Lakhs.
- Health Insurance Premium: ₹0.48 Lakhs (coverage up to ₹5.25 Lakhs).
- Monthly Special Allowance (after 3 months of active service upon review):
- Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune Regions: ₹10,000/- per month.
- Ahmedabad Region: ₹5,000/- per month.
- Other Benefits: Official duty lodging/halting/travel allowance and Group Medical/Accident Insurance supported by the bank.
Age Limit (As on 31.07.2026)
- General / Unreserved Candidates: Maximum 30 years (Candidates must be born on or after August 1, 1996).
- SC / ST Candidates: Upper age relaxation of 5 years (up to 35 years).
Selection Process
The selection of candidates involves a multi-stage evaluation process:
