Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria

• Anganwadi Teacher (AWT): Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent qualification.
• Anganwadi Helper / Aayah: Must have passed Intermediate (10+2). In case eligible Intermediate candidates are unavailable in the designated local area, candidates who have passed Class 10 (SSC) will be considered.
• Local Residency Requirement (Mandatory):
  • The applicant must be a bona fide resident of the respective Gram Panchayat (for rural areas) or the specific Ward (for urban areas) where the Anganwadi Centre is situated.
  • For posts reserved under SC/ST Sub-Plan, the applicant must belong to the exact habitation/hamlet (for ST) or Gram Panchayat/Ward (for SC).
  • A valid Residence Certificate issued by the Tahsildar within one year prior to the notification date must be produced.
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Eligible differently-abled female candidates (hearing impaired using hearing aids, visually impaired capable of functioning without an escort, and locomotor disabled candidates who can effectively handle childcare duties) can apply.

Selection Process

1. Online Screening: Scrutiny of online applications based on qualifications and local roster eligibility.
2. Physical Document Verification: Candidates who submitted online forms must report in person to their respective ICDS Project Office between September 7, 2026, and September 19, 2026, along with all original credentials and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
3. Merit & Roster Finalization: Final selection list approval by the District Selection Committee headed by the District Collector, Mahabubabad.
