Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- General Requirement: Passed Intermediate (10+2) from the Board of School Education Uttarakhand / UP Board or any examination recognized as equivalent by the Government.
- Typing Speed (For Clerical / Assistant Posts): Minimum speed of 4,000 Key Depressions Per Hour (KDPH) in Hindi typing on computer (some specific posts also prefer English typing and MS Office proficiency).
- Specific Posts:
- Senior Assistant (BRIDCUL): Intermediate with 25 wpm typing in Hindi & 30 wpm in English, MS Office knowledge, and 5 years relevant experience.
- Computer Operator / Store Keeper: Intermediate plus a minimum 6-month or 1-year Diploma in Computer Applications.
- Telephone Operator: Intermediate, with preference for candidates with EPBX experience.
State Eligibility Conditions
Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Valid registration in an Employment Exchange located in Uttarakhand prior to the last date of application.

Scheme of Examination & Selection Process
The selection process comprises two phases:
1. Written Examination (Offline OMR-Based)
- Type: Objective Type with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- Total Questions & Marks: 100 Questions, 100 Marks.
- Duration: 2 Hours.
- Negative Marking: $0.25$ marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Qualifying Marks: 45% for General/OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
2. Syllabus Breakdown
- General Hindi (20 Marks): Hindi language evolution, script, grammar, sentence syntax, vocabulary, idioms, official letter drafting, mass media, and computer applications in Hindi.
- General Studies & General Knowledge (40 Marks): General Intelligence and Reasoning, Indian and World History, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Current Affairs, and Computer Fundamentals.
- General Knowledge of Uttarakhand (40 Marks): Geography, history, dynasties, social and statehood movements, economy, tourism, culture, biodiversity, and regional current events.
3. Computer Typing Test
- Qualifying in nature for Junior Assistant and typing-specific positions (minimum 4000 KDPH in Hindi).
