The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 to recruit 641 candidates for various posts including Senior Personal Assistant, Personal Assistant, Junior Judicial Assistant, Process Server, and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon in the Delhi District Courts and Family Courts. Eligible Indian citizens can submit their applications online through the DSSSB portal between October 6, 2026, and November 4, 2026.

Vacancy Details

DSSSB has announced a total of 641 tentative vacancies across the Delhi District & Sessions Courts and Family Courts. Candidates must check the detailed distribution of these backlog and fresh posts before opting for their preferences.

Education Details

• Senior Personal Assistant: Graduate with a Shorthand speed of not less than 110 wpm and typewriting speed of 40 wpm.

• Personal Assistant: Graduate with a Shorthand speed of 100 wpm, typing speed of 40 wpm, and knowledge of computers.

• Junior Judicial Assistant: Graduate with a typing speed of not less than 40 wpm on a computer.

• Process Server: Matriculation pass or equivalent / Higher Secondary with a Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence and 2 years of unblemished driving experience.

• Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon: Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board. Note: All educational and experience criteria will be determined as on November 4, 2026.

Salary

• Senior Personal Assistant: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4800/- (Group-B Non-Gazetted)

• Personal Assistant: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- (Group-B Non-Gazetted)

• Junior Judicial Assistant: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- (Group-C)

• Process Server: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- (Group-C)

• Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- (Group-C)

Age Limit

For all the above posts, candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age. The age will be reckoned as on June 1, 2026, meaning candidates must have been born between June 2, 1999, and June 1, 2008. Age relaxations are applicable as per rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Delhi), 10 years for PwBD, and period of military service plus 3 years for Ex-Servicemen.

Selection Process

• For SPA, PA: The selection comprises four tiers: Tier-I (MCQ of 90 marks), Tier-II (Descriptive English of 75 marks), Tier-III (Shorthand & Typing Skill Test, qualifying in nature), and Tier-IV (Interview for 10 marks).

• For Junior Judicial Assistant: Four tiers: Tier-I (MCQ of 120 marks), Tier-II (Descriptive English of 100 marks), Tier-III (Typing Skill Test, qualifying), and Tier-IV (Interview for 15 marks).

• For Process Server: Three tiers: Tier-I (MCQ of 100 marks), Tier-II (Driving/Skill Test in real traffic conditions, qualifying), and Tier-III (Interview for 15 marks).

• For Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon: Two tiers: Tier-I (MCQ of 100 marks) and Tier-II (Interview for 15 marks).

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 100/-

• Women, SC, ST, PwBD & Ex-Servicemen: Exempted from paying the application fee

• Payment Mode: Online through SBI e-pay only

How to Apply

1. Visit the DSSSB Application Portal at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

2. Click on “New Registration” to create a profile (if not already registered) using valid ID proofs.

3. Log in with your User ID and Password.

4. Select Advertisement No. 04/2026 and choose the relevant post code.

5. Fill out the application form carefully with all educational and personal details.

6. Upload the required scanned photograph, signature, and other necessary documents per the guidelines.

7. Pay the requisite application fee of Rs. 100/- via SBI e-pay (if applicable).

8. Submit the application and take a printout of the final form for future reference.
