The Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts (S.S.S.C.) under the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has released an employment notification (Detailed Employment Notice No. 37C/SSSC/PB/2026) for the direct recruitment of Clerks in the District Courts of Punjab.

A total of 1,270 vacancies have been announced across multiple reservation categories. SSSC Punjab Clerk Education Details

Candidates must satisfy the following educational requirements on or before November 4, 2026:

  • Degree: Must hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or an equivalent degree from a recognized University.

  • Matriculation Subject: Must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th) with Punjabi as one of the subjects.

  • Computer Proficiency: Must possess proficiency in operating computers.

Salary

  • Pay Scale: Placed in the pay scale of Rs. 29,200/- (Level-5) for graduates under the New Pay Scales of the Government of Punjab, adopted for subordinate courts.

  • Allowances: Entitled to usual Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other admissible state allowances as approved by the Government of Punjab from time to time.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and testimonial verification:

Qualifying Only (Marks not counted for final merit)

• Minimum 40% (4 marks) required in Spreadsheet Test to qualify for typing evaluation.

  2. Under the navigation menu, select the link titled “Clerk – District Courts of Punjab”.
  3. Complete the registration form by providing personal details, an active email ID, and mobile number to generate a Registration ID and Password.
  4. Ensure the device has a functioning webcam, as capturing and uploading a real-time photograph during application filling is mandatory.
  5. Upload a recent passport-sized photograph (taken within one month against a white background) and a clear scanned specimen signature.
  6. Fill in educational credentials, confirming Punjabi at Matriculation and graduation degree details.
