Education & Experience Details
Essential Qualification: Medical candidates must hold an MD/MS or an equivalent recognized qualification in the respective discipline. Non-medical candidates must hold a doctorate degree in the respective discipline/subject.
Professor: Requires 14 years of teaching/research experience for medical candidates (12 or 11 years for M.Ch./D.M. holders) and 14 years for non-medical candidates.
Additional Professor: Requires 10 years of teaching/research experience for general medical candidates and non-medical candidates (8 or 7 years for super specialty disciplines).
Associate Professor: Requires 6 years of teaching/research experience for general medical and non-medical candidates (4 or 3 years for super specialty disciplines).
Salary Details
Professor: Level-14-A (Rs. 1,68,900 – 2,20,400/-)
Additional Professor: Level-13-A2+ (Rs. 1,48,200 – 2,11,400/-)
Associate Professor: Level-13-A-1+ (Rs. 1,38,300 – 2,09,200/-)
Assistant Professor: Level-12 (Rs. 1,01,500 – 1,67,400/-)
All advertised posts carry the usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status stationed at Samba (Vijaypur) UT of J&K.
Age Limit & Relaxations
The maximum age limit for all posts is 50 years.
SC/ST: 5 years relaxation.
OBC: 3 years relaxation.

Selection Process
The selection is primarily based on the candidate’s performance in a personal interview.
