AIIMS Jodhpur Faculty Recruitment 2026: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, an autonomous Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has released an official recruitment notification (Advt. No. Admn/Faculty/04/2026-AIIMS.JDH) for Group ‘A’ Faculty positions on a direct recruitment basis. A total of 190 vacancies have been announced for the posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor across 40 super-specialty and broad specialty medical departments. Education Details

1. Medical Candidates

• Medical Degree: A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, with valid registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
• Postgraduate Qualification: MD/MS in the respective discipline/subject for Broad Specialties, and DM/M.Ch in relevant super-specialties.
• Required Teaching/Research Experience (Post-MD/MS/DM/M.Ch):
  • Professor: 14 years for broad specialties; 12 years for 2/5-year DM/M.Ch; 11 years for 3/6-year DM/M.Ch.
  • Additional Professor: 10 years for broad specialties; 8 years for 2/5-year DM/M.Ch; 7 years for 3/6-year DM/M.Ch.
  • Associate Professor: 6 years for broad specialties; 4 years for 2/5-year DM/M.Ch; 3 years for 3/6-year DM/M.Ch.
  • Assistant Professor: 3 years for broad specialties; 1 year for 2/5-year DM/M.Ch; No experience required for 3-year or post-MBBS 6-year DM/M.Ch.

2. Non-Medical Candidates (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Biostatistics)

• Master’s Degree (M.Sc) in the concerned specialty.
• Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) from a recognized university.
• Experience: 14 years for Professor, 10 years for Additional Professor, 6 years for Associate Professor, and 3 years for Assistant Professor post-Doctorate.

3. Dentistry Candidates

• BDS with MDS in the concerned dental specialty + 3 years teaching/research experience for Assistant Professor.

• Professor & Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years.
• Associate Professor & Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC / ST: 5 Years
  • OBC: 3 Years
  • PwBD: 5 Years
  • Government Servants / Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years

Selection Process

• Shortlisting: Screening and shortlisting of applicants based on educational qualifications, bio-data, and published research work.
• Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an in-person interview conducted at AIIMS Jodhpur.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks in Interview: 60% for UR/EWS, 55% for OBC, and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD.
• Document Verification: Verification of all original degrees, mark sheets, registration certificates, and experience testimonials.
• Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Medical fitness assessment by the medical board of AIIMS Jodhpur prior to appointment.
