AP EAMCET / AP EAPCET 2023 Category-B NRI/Non-NRI Quota Counselling

AP EAPCET Category-B Non-NRI Quota Admissions 2023-24: The Qualified/not qualified candidates of JEE (MAIN), APEAPCET-2023, not appeared in JEE(MAIN)& APEAPCET-2023 and eligible candidates desirous of seeking admission into B.E/B.Tech/Pharmacy Courses of Category-B Non-NRI quota seats are informed that the web counseling process comprising payment of processing fee cum registration, online certificate verification (Uploading of certificates), and option entry will be conducted from 08-11-2023 to 18-11-2023. The candidates are instructed to follow the user manual to proceed with the web counseling process.

With a  view to streamlining the admission process in the interest of students, the Government has decided to issue guidelines for admission into Category-8 seats in Private Unaided Non-Minority Professional institutions to ensure admission to the eligible meritorious candidates in a fair, transparent and non-exploitative manner and in the public domain. Accordingly, the government has issued GOs referred above.

In accordance with the relevant GOs, the Competent Authority i.e Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education hereby issues the guidelines for the academic year 2023-24, as furnished hereunder, for filling up the Category-B seats in Engineering Colleges in a transparent manner, based on the decisions taken in the matter and in consideration of the procedure evolved in the Government Orders.

A web portal has been designed for category-B admissions. The institutions may login to the portal https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and under the web page SPOT & CAT-B ADMISSIONS- 2023 (College registration login).

Every institution will be provided with login credentials for accessing and utilizing the web portal for making Category-B admissions.

The schedule for Category-B admissions is furnished hereunder. The institutions shall stick to the schedule and complete the Category-8 admission process.

User manual for Category-8 admissions is also furnished in the web portal.

Lr. No. APSCHE I CETs I EAPCET-2023/CAT-B/NRI/ Notification/I dated 14.08.2023, the institutions are requested to complete the Category-B  (NRI)  quota admissions and communicate the details to the Secretary, APSCHE.

For filling up of Category-B (Non-NRI) and  unfilled  NRI  quota  seats (converted  to Non­ NRI) the following is the schedule:

The institution shall upload the data of both applications received online and in person in to the web portal as per schedule by paying the candidate registration fee through online mode as detailed below:

Institutions shall download the combined list of candidates applied to the institution or directly to the common web portal. The institution at its option uses the online merit generation facility available on the web portal. The merit list generated shall be in order of NRI quota, JEE (Mains)/ NEET-2023 rankers, APEAPCET-2023 rankers and qualifying examination in order of merit as prescribed in the relevant GO.

Instructions for Filling up of Cat-B seats for Minority Engineering Colleges.

The eligible candidates are informed to participate in web counseling for the seats available in Private Engineering Colleges and Private Pharmacy colleges for the seats of Category-B Non-NRI quota in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2023-24. The web counseling schedule is given below.

Documents Required for AP EAMCET Category B Counselling 2023

The candidates are requested to keep ready the following certificates before proceeding for online registration:

1. JEE(MAIN) Rank card(if qualified)
2. APEAPCET-2023 Rank card(if qualified)
3. Memorandum of Marks (Inter or its equivalent).
4. Proof of Date of Birth (SSC or its Equivalent Memo).
5. Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
6. Study Certificate from VI class to Intermediate or its equivalent
7. Integrated Community Certificate, in case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority.

AP EAMCET Category B Eligibility Criteria:

• Age of the candidates should have completed 16 years as on 31-12-2023.
• The candidates have secured not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories (BC, SC and ST) of marks in aggregate/ Group Subjects in Qualifying Examination.
• The candidates secured rank in JEE (Mains) are eligible; satisfying the eligibility criteria mentioned S.No 1& 2.
• The candidates secured rank in APEAPCET are eligible; satisfying the eligibility criteria mentioned S.No 1& 2..
• The candidate with intermediate or its equivalent; satisfying the eligibility criteria mentioned S.No 1& 2
