Andhra Pradesh Govt. Information and Public Relations Department, Vijayawada has released advertisement that it is organizing a Photo contest on Neeru- Pragathi.

The Public Information and Public Relations Department organizes the photography competition on Neeru Pragathi, which ends on July 20. Neeru Pragathi is a program designed to increase the amount of water. It began on April 20 with people’s participation.

For the photography contest, amateur photographers and photo journalists can send entries for which prizes will be awarded first, second and third prizes by the government, said Information Commissioner and Public Relations S Venkateswar in a press release Published on Sunday.

The caption for each photo should be about 20 lines with the details of the place, the subjects in the picture and the opinions of the beneficiaries of the program. Photographs should be sent to the Department of Public Information and Public Relations, Second Floor, RTC Complex, Vijayawada, by mail or by hand. Cash prizes of £ 20,000, £ 15,000 and £ 10,000 will be presented respectively to the first three winners of the contest.

There will be 10 consolation prizes of ‘1000 each. Registration forms can be obtained from the Department of Public Information and Public Relations or can be downloaded from www.ipr.ap.nic.in, the Commissioner said.

Photographs should be sent to Public Institute and Public Relations Department, Second Floor, RTC Complex, Vijayawada, Mail or Hand. Rs20,000,Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 cash prizes respectively, respectively.

“Each one has 10 consolation prizes. Registration forms can be obtained from the Public Information and Public Relations Department or downloaded from www.ipr.ap.nic.in, the Commissioner said.
