Age Limit

Age Bracket: The standard age limit prescribed for APPSC subordinate services is generally 18 to 42 years.
Crucial Date: The date of the Detailed Notification will be reckoned as the crucial cutoff date in all aspects, including age criteria.

Selection Process

The selection involves a single-level computer-based examination with no preliminary screening test:

Computer-Based Recruitment Test (CBRT): Objective-type written test for a total of 300 marks (Degree Standard):
- Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 150 Marks.
- Paper-II: Subject Paper (Economics, Commerce, Computer Basics & Statistics) – 150 Questions, 150 Minutes, 150 Marks.
- Negative Marking: $1/3^{\text{rd}}$ of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Practical test of 60 minutes for 100 marks assessing skills in Office Automation, Windows OS, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Qualifying Marks: SC/ST/PwBD – 30 marks, BCs – 35 marks, OCs – 40 marks.
Document Verification: Verification of original educational certificates, study certificates, and caste/community documents.
