BEML Limited, a premier Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released an official notification (Advt. No: L&D/01/2026) for the engagement of one-year Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This recruitment drive offers 1,346 apprenticeship training slots across BEML’s manufacturing units in Bangalore, Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), Mysore, and Palakkad. Opportunities are available for Engineering Graduates, General Degree holders, Diploma holders, and ITI passouts. The online application portal is active from August 18, 2026, to September 8, 2026.

BEML Limited has announced 1,346 apprentice training positions across four major manufacturing complexes. The training opportunities are distributed among engineering degree holders, general stream graduates, diploma technicians, and ITI trade candidates across various technical disciplines.

Educational Details

Candidates must possess full-time regular qualifications from recognized universities or boards passed within three years from the closing date of application:

• Graduate (Technical) Apprentices: 4-year Full-Time B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Civil, Computer Science, Information Science, E&T, AI & ML, or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Graduate (General) Apprentices: 3-year Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in B.Com, BBA, BBA (HR), BCA, or B.Sc.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: 3-year Full-Time Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Civil, Computer Science, Information Science, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Trade (ITI) Apprentices: Full-Time ITI (1-year or 2-year duration) in Fitter, Turner, Welder, Machinist, Electrician, COPA, Mechanic Diesel, Carpenter, Tool & Die Making (TDM), Sheet Metal Worker, Plumber, MAEE, MMV, or Electronic Mechanic.
• Ineligibility: Candidates pursuing or possessing qualifications through part-time, correspondence, distance, or online modes are not eligible. Candidates who have already undergone or are undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere cannot apply.

BEML Apprentice job Monthly Stipend

Selected candidates will receive fixed monthly stipend amounts during their one-year training duration under the Apprenticeship Act:

• Graduate (Technical – B.E./B.Tech) Apprentices: ₹12,300/- per month
• Graduate (General – B.Com/BBA/BCA/B.Sc) Apprentices: ₹12,300/- per month
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹10,900/- per month
• Trade (ITI) Apprentices: ₹9,600/- or ₹10,560/- per month (depending on the trade duration)

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: Candidates must have completed at least 17 years of age at the time of submitting the application.
• Upper Age & Reservation: Applicable as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, with statutory relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC (NCL) categories.

Selection Process

1. Academic Merit Screening: Eligible applications will be shortlisted based purely on the percentage of marks obtained in the final qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma/ITI).
2. Document Verification (1:5 Ratio): Shortlisted candidates will be invited for certificate verification in order of merit in a 1:5 ratio with respect to available slots.
3. No Exam / Interview: There is no written test or interview conducted for this selection.
4. Final Engagement: Final engagement orders will be issued upon signing the tripartite apprenticeship contract on NATS/NAPS and submitting a medical fitness certificate and police verification report.

1. Portal Registration (Mandatory):

   • Degree & Diploma Candidates: Register on the NATS portal at [https://nats.education.gov.in](https://nats.education.gov.in).
2. BEML Application Submission:
   • Visit the official BEML recruitment portal at [https://recruitment.bemlindia.in](https://recruitment.bemlindia.in).
   • Navigate to the “Apprentices Login / Registration” section.
   • Enter your NATS/NAPS enrolment number and fill in personal and educational details.
3. Select Location & Trade: Choose only one trade at one preferred complex/location (multiple applications lead to rejection).
4. Upload Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of 10th mark sheet, qualification certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), photo, signature, and bank passbook/cancelled cheque details.
5. Submit Form: Review all entered details carefully and submit the application before September 8, 2026 (23:00 hrs).
6. Print Confirmation: Download and retain a printout of the submitted application form for future document verification.
