Vacancy Details

BHEL Bhopal is recruiting 100 ITI Trade Apprentices across six technical trades crucial for its manufacturing operations. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in skilled trades like Fitter, Electrician, and Welder, providing a strong foundation for a technical career.

Education Details

To be eligible for the ITI Trade Apprentice posts, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: Must have passed 10th/Matriculation along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

• Institute Recognition: ITI must be from an NCVT-recognized institute located in Madhya Pradesh.

• Minimum Marks (ITI): A minimum aggregate of 60% marks for GEN/EWS/OBC and 55% for SC/ST categories in the ITI qualification.

• Passing Year: ITI completion year must be 2023 or later (Relaxation for BHEL wards).

• Ineligibility: Candidates who have completed ITI through Private or SCVT institutes, or who have already undergone apprenticeship/have 1 year or more of job experience are not eligible.

Stipend Details

The selected ITI Trade Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as mandated by the Government of India rules under the Apprentices Act.

Age Limit

The age of the candidates will be calculated as of December 1, 2025.

• Minimum Age: 14 Years

• Maximum Age (GEN/EWS): 27 Years

Selection Process

The selection process for the ITI Trade Apprenticeship is primarily merit-based.

1. Merit List: Candidates will be short-listed based on the marks obtained in the ITI qualifying examination.

2. Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given to the candidate older in age, followed by a higher score in the 10th class.

3. Document Verification & Medical Test: Short-listed candidates will be called for document verification and a subsequent medical fitness test.

1. NAPS Registration: Register and complete your profile on the Apprenticeship India Portal: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Note down the NAPS Registration Number.

2. Apprenticeship Application: Apply for the establishment: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Bhopal (E05202303981) on the Apprenticeship Portal for your specific trade.

3. BHEL Online Application: Visit the BHEL Bhopal careers website (https://bpl.bhel.com/bplweb_new/careers/index.html) and fill out the online application form using the designated link for “ITI Trade Apprenticeship 2025-26.”

4. Print & Compile: Print the acknowledgment slip generated after the BHEL online application submission.

5. Document Submission (Offline): Send the acknowledgment slip along with self-attested copies of the following documents by Ordinary Post only:

   • Class 10th Marksheet/Certificate (for DOB proof).
