Application Fee Details
The application fee must be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The fee structure varies based on the category and the number of papers the candidate wishes to appear for:

Age Limit (As on 01-08-2026)
To be eligible for Bihar STET 2026, candidates must fulfill the following age criteria:

- Maximum Age (General – Male): 37 Years
- Maximum Age (General – Female / BC / EBC – Male & Female): 40 Years
- Maximum Age (SC / ST – Male & Female): 42 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Government rules. PwBD candidates are eligible for a 10-year relaxation, and Ex-Servicemen get a 3-year relaxation.
Educational Eligibility Criteria
For Paper-I (Secondary Level – Classes 9 to 10):
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject/group of subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
- Must have passed the B.Ed. examination from an NCTE-recognized institution.
For Paper-II (Higher Secondary Level – Classes 11 to 12):
- Candidates must possess a Post Graduate (Master’s) Degree in the related subject with at least 50% marks (Second Division) from a recognized university.
- Must have passed the B.Ed. examination. (Note: For Computer Science subject candidates, the B.Ed. degree is not compulsory).
- A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is provided to SC/ST/EBC/BC and PwBD candidates.
