BSNL JTO Recruitment Education Details
Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Engineering Degree or its equivalent from a recognized Institution/University in Telecommunications, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology (IT), or Instrumentation. Alternatively, candidates holding an M.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science are also eligible. Candidates with higher qualifications like an M.Tech in the prescribed disciplines may also apply.
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the IDA pay scale [E-1] ranging from ₹16,400 to ₹40,500/-.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age must be a minimum of 20 years and must not exceed 30 years as of the closing date for application receipt. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules: up to 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and up to 10-15 years for PwBD candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of multiple stages to assess the candidates:
Online Examination (CBT): A Computer-based Multiple Choice Objective Type Test comprising three sections: Engineering Stream Section I, Engineering Stream Section II, and General Ability Test Section III.
Document Verification: For candidates who make it to the declared merit list based on the CBT.
Medical Examination: Final appointment is subject to passing BSNL’s required medical standards.

- Fill out the application form with accurate personal and educational details.
- Select your preferred Examination City/Center from the 27 available options.
- Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph (20kb-50kb) and signature (10kb-20kb) in jpg/jpeg format with a white background.
- Pay the non-refundable examination fee online using Internet Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
- Submit the application and take a printout of the computer-generated registration form for your records and future reference.
