Central Board of Secondary Education released a latest Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET notification 2019 for teachers Central Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)  has released the CTET Notification 2018 for Recruitment of various subject Teachers in Schools. .The detailed notification will be released soon along with Syllabus for CTET. Eligible candidates can apply online from before Last Date on its official website ctet.nic.in.

CTET July 2019 Paper – I and Paper – II will be Computer Based Tests and will comprise of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each.


The candidate applying for CTET is required:-

  • To go through the Information Bulletin carefully with the entire requirement therein.
  • To satisfy eligibility to appear in the examination.
  • To submit On-line application by giving full particulars by accessing the CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
  • To write complete mailing address with Postal PIN Code at the time of applying.
  • Before submission of application form, decide the mode of payment of fee.
  • To keep the Confirmation Page along with the original copy of E-Challan (In case fee is paid through E-Challan) of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank for future reference.
  • If a candidate submits on-line more than one application, his/her candidature shall be liable to be cancelled and the candidate may also be debarred for future examination(s). No communication will be sent in this regard.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test – TET is a State Eligibility test for candidates seeking employment opportunities as teachers in the state government schools. In many states of India, it is a pre-requisite for candidates to qualify the state’s Teacher’s Eligibility Test in order to apply for the post of government teachers.

Important Dates of CTET 2019

1.a. Online Submission of application through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in05-02-2019 (Tuesday) to

05-03-2019 (Tuesday) upto 17:00 hrs

b. Last date for payment of fee through E- challan or Debit/Credit Card by the candidate. 

08-03-2019 (Friday) Before 03:30 PM*

2.Period for Online Corrections in Particulars (No correction will be allowed in any particulars after this date)14-03-2019 (Thursday) to

20-03-2019 (Wednesday)

3.Final status of application : check the status of application and/or Particulars of candidate whose fees received 

25-03-2019 (Monday)

5.Centre of ExaminationAs indicated on the Admit Card
6.Declaration of Results on or before.Within 06 (Six) weeks from the date of conduct of the examination.
7.Material to be brought on the day of examinationDownloaded Admit Card and valid ID Proof (any of the following) documents such as “PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Ration Card, Voter ID Card, Driving Licence and Pen etc.
8.Rough WorkAll rough work should be done in the Test Booklet only. The candidate should NOT do any rough work or put stray mark on the Answer Sheet.
  • In case confirmation page not generated, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary (CTET), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 14-03-2019 (Thursday) to 20-03-2019 (Wednesday) giving proof of the payment of fee either through Bank Challan or through Credit/Debit Card for considering his/her candidature for CTET – JULY-2019.

 The Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted in two levels

Paper 1: Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) for the primary teacher (PRT)

Paper 2: Upper Primary Level (Class 5 to 8)

CBSE Central TET 2019  Teacher Vacancy Notification 

The Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 16/09/2018 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 92 cities all over the country. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in w.e.f. 12/06/2018 (Tuesday). The aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from above-mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The online application process will start from 22/06/2018 (Friday) onwards. The last date for submitting online application is 19/07/2018 (Thursday) and fee can be paid up to 21-07-2018 (Saturday) before 3.30.p.m.

CTET 2019 Eligibility 

Candidates applying for Paper – I, which is conducted for Teachers eligible to teach Class 1 to 5 need to possess Intermediate certificate along with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Candidates applying for Paper – II, which is conducted for Teacher eligible to teach Class 6 to 8, need to possess a Graduation Degree (any discipline) from a Recognized University with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) certificate.

Must have completed class 12th with at least 50% marks or should have cleared or appeared in final year diploma of elementary education.


Must have at least 50% in 12th or cleared or appearing in final year of diploma in elementary education as per the NCTE Regulations 2002.

CTET Syllabus 2019

CTET 2019 exam paper will be a multiple choice question paper. The duration exam will be two and a half hours and each question will comprise of 1 mark each and there will be no negative marking against the wrong answer. Two papers will be conducted first in the morning session for class I-V and then in the evening session for class VI-VIII. The questions will be based on topics like Child development and pedagogy Mathematics and Environmental studies, Social studies and social sciences.

CTET 2019: Marks and validity

Minimum 60% marks are required to qualify the TET and the TET qualifying certificate is valid for seven years for appointment in schools. There is no restriction for appearing for the CTET exams, you can take the CTET Exam for improving your scores every year.

Schedule of the examination

Generally, the CBSE conducts the exam for Paper-II in the morning session (9.30 am to 12.00 noon) and Paper-I exam in the evening session (2.00 pm to 4.30 pm). The duration of the exam is 2.30 hours.
