Eligibility Criteria for Customs Job Recruitment 2017
Essential Qualification
- Engineer Mate: Holder of Engine Driver of Fishing Vessel Certificate, issued by Marine Mercantile Department. Shoudl Passed 10 Class or Equivalent
- Senior Deck Hand: 8th Pass. 5 Years service on seagoing vessel with 2 years experience in Helmsman & Seamanship work
- Sukhani: 8th Pass. 7 Years service on the seagoing vessel with 2 years experience
- Trade Man: 10th Pass or equivalent. I.T.I certificate in Mechanic/ Diesel/fitter /Turner / Welder /Electrician/ Instrumental/ carpenter.
- Seaman: 10th Pass or equivalent.2 years experience in Helmsman & Seamanship work.
- Greaser:10th Pass or equivalent.3 Years service on a seagoing Mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
- Tindal:10th or equivalent.
Age Limit
- Age Limit Should be between 18 to 30 Years
- SC/ST Categories: 05 Years
- OBC Candidates: 03 Years
Pay Scale
- Pay Scale for Engineer Mate – Rs. 5200/- 20200 GP Rs.2800/-
- Pay Scale for Senior Deck Hand – Rs. 5200/- 20200 GP Rs.2000/-
- Pay Scale for Sukhani – Rs. 5200/- 20200 GP Rs.2400/-
- Pay Scale for Trade Man – Rs. 5200/- 20200 GP Rs.1900/-
- Pay Scale for Seaman – Rs. 5200/- 20200 GP Rs.1800/-
- Pay Scale for Greaser – Rs. 5200/- 20200 GP Rs.1800/-
