DRDO DEAL Apprenticeship: Education Details

• Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): Must possess a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks in the relevant engineering discipline.

• Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): Must hold a B.Sc. (PCM/PCB) or B.Lib./B.L.I.Sc. degree with at least 60% marks.

• Diploma Apprentice: Must possess a regular Diploma in Engineering/Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in the respective discipline.

• ITI Apprentice: Must be an ITI pass-out holding a valid NCVT/SCVT Certificate in the designated trade.

Age Limit & Eligibility

• Age Limit: The minimum age of the applicant must not be less than 18 years. Rules regarding the maximum age and standard relaxations align with the Apprentices Act-1961 and standard portal guidelines.

• Passing Year: Only regular candidates who have successfully passed their qualifying examination in the last five years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026) are eligible.

• Disqualifications: Candidates possessing a higher qualification beyond the required minimum are not eligible. Individuals who have already undergone apprenticeship training or have more than one year of prior work experience are excluded. Candidates whose final academic results are still awaited cannot apply.
