Education Details
Candidates must be literate women who have successfully passed their 10th Class (SSC) from a recognized educational board. Applicants must also be permanent residents of the specific village or ward for which they are applying.
Salary
Selected ASHA Workers are expected to receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 10,000 as per state government norms.
Age Limit
Applicants should preferably fall within the age group of 25 to 45 years. Priority is typically given to married, widowed, divorced, or separated women residing within the community.
Selection Process
As detailed in the official press note 17896407055571.pdf, applications will first be collected and reviewed by the Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committee (VHSNC). For every available post, the VHSNC will forward the applications of three eligible and meritorious candidates to the district authorities. Final appointments will be finalized by the District Health Society (DHS).
