EPFO Recruitment 2026: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has recently released the latest notification for the recruitment of 74 vacancies. The available positions include Deputy Director (Audit), Assistant Director (Audit), Assistant Audit Officer (AAO), and Auditor, which are to be filled on a deputation basis. • Deputy Director (Audit): 7 Posts

• Auditor: 40 Posts

Eligibility Criteria for EPFO Posts

Applicants must fulfill specific eligibility conditions depending on the post they are targeting. The tenure of deputation will initially be for three years.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Deputy Director (Audit): Candidates must hold an analogous post on a regular basis. Educational qualifications preferably include a B.Com graduation. The applicant must have passed the SAS examination conducted by the IA & AD or another Central/State Government Organization. Extensive experience in handling Audit, Accounts, and financial matters is necessary. Alternatively, officers possessing 5 to 8 years of regular service in lower-level pay matrixes (Level 6 to 10) are eligible to apply.

• Assistant Director (Audit): Candidates must either hold analogous posts on a regular basis OR have completed 3 to 7 years of regular service in Level-6 or Level-7 positions. A proven background and experience in Accounts/Audit of Public Funds is mandatory.

• Assistant Audit Officer (AAO): Applicants must hold an analogous post on a regular basis OR hold 5 to 7 years of regular service in Level-6 posts, coupled with hands-on experience in Accounts/Audit of Public Funds.

• Auditor: Candidates need to hold an analogous post on a regular basis OR must have completed 5 years of regular service in Level-5, along with requisite experience in Accounts/Audit of Public Funds.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit for all applicants is capped at 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

Pay Scale Details

Selected candidates will be remunerated according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix:

• Deputy Director (Audit): Level-11
• Assistant Director (Audit): Level-10
• Assistant Audit Officer (AAO): Level-7
• Auditor: Level-6

How to Apply for EPFO Recruitment 2026

The application procedure for the deputation consists of two distinct steps: an initial online registration followed by the submission of a hard copy through the proper departmental channel.

1. Step 1: Online Submission: Willing and eligible officials must first fill out the Google form provided in the official notification.
2. The strict deadline to submit the online Google form is 30th July 2026, by 11:59 PM.
3. Step 2: Physical Application: Following the online submission, applicants must neatly fill out Annexure-I attached to the advertisement.
4. Candidates are also required to attach a brief note explaining why they consider themselves suitable for the desired post.
5. The applicant must ensure their respective Cadre Controlling Authority forwards the application. The application packet must include the last 5 years’ APARs, Annexure-I, a duly filled Certificate (Annexure-II), and the latest Vigilance Clearance Certificate.
6. The completed hard copy must be addressed by name to: Shri Vikram Singh, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II (Recruitment Division), Plate A, Ground Floor, Block II, East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi-110023.
7. This physical application must be received at the Head Office on or before 14th August 2026, 17:00 Hrs.

Important Note: In the event that any discrepancy is discovered between the data filled online via the Google form and the physical copy received, the data provided in the physical application (forwarded by the Cadre Controlling Authority) will be considered final. Applications not routed through the proper channel or received after the deadline will be outright rejected.
