Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Junior Project Fellow (JPF): Master’s degree in Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/Environmental Science/Ag.  Science/  Rural  Management/  Forestry/ Social Sciences Or First  Class  B.E.  or B. Tech  in  Agricultural  Engineering/Environmental  Engineering
  • Senior Research  Fellow (SRF)/Senior  Project Fellow (SPF): M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science / Agricultural  Science/ Geography/  Geology/Remote sensing &  GIS with First division and 2  years of research  experience for SRF/SPF
  • Field Assistant: Graduate in Science from a  recognized  University
  • Himalayan Junior Research  Fellow/  Project Fellow: Master’s degree in Environmental Science/Water Resources/Soil & Water Conservation/Geography/Geology/Remote sensing & GIS, any other relevant fields Or B.E./B. Tech in Environmental Engineering /  Agricultural Engineering/ Civil Engineering
  • Project coordinator: Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/Environmental Science/Social Sciences/Natural resource Management/ Forestry
  • Field Coordinating staff: Master’s degree in Life/Environment/ Social Sciences  with  consistently  good academic record

Age Limit

Pay Scale

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Junior  Project Fellow  (JPF): Rs.25000/-
  • Senior Research  Fellow (SRF)/Senior  Project Fellow (SPF): Rs.28000/-
  • Field Assistant: Rs.10000/-
  • Himalayan Junior Research  Fellow/  Project Fellow: Rs.25000/-
  • Project coordinator: Rs.55000/-
  • Field Coordinating staff: Rs.18000/-
