The GSSSB has announced 100 vacancies for the position of Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Male), Class-3. Please note that this recruitment drive is exclusively open to male candidates, and there are no reservations or provisions for female applicants.

GSSSB MPHW Jobs 2026 Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the MPHW post must meet the following qualification requirements:

• Basic Course/Diploma: Must have successfully completed at least a one-year Multi-Purpose Health Worker basic certificate course or Diploma course from a government-recognized institution; OR

• Sanitary Inspector Course: Must have passed a minimum one-year Sanitary Inspectors Diploma Course or Health Sanitary Inspector certificate course from an ITI or any government-recognized university/institute.

• Computer Knowledge: Possess a basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed by state government rules.

• Language Proficiency: Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, or both languages.

Salary Structure

• Initial Period: Selected candidates will be appointed on a fixed timeline structure for the first 5 years, receiving a fixed salary of Rs. 26,000/- per month.

• Regular Scale: Upon successful and satisfactory completion of the 5-year probationary service, candidates will be integrated into the regular pay matrix under the 7th Pay Commission at Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- (Level-2).

Age Limit (as of 31-07-2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years

Upper Age Relaxation:

• Reserved Category Men (SEBC/SC/ST/EWS): 5 years relaxation (Maximum up to 38 years).

• General Category PwBD Men: 10 years relaxation (Maximum up to 43 years).

• Reserved Category PwBD Men: 15 years relaxation (Maximum up to 45 years).

• Ex-Servicemen: Period of service rendered plus 3 years.

GSSSB MPHW Notification 2026: Selection Process

The selection process consists of a single-stage objective competitive examination conducted via OMR or Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) methodology. The exam is split into two distinct parts taken collectively over a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes):

1. Part-A (90 Marks): Testing Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), Constitution of India (10 marks), Current Affairs (10 marks), and Gujarati & English Comprehension (10 marks).

2. Part-B (120 Marks): Technical qualification questions and its professional applications related to the health domain (120 marks).

• Negative Marking: A penalty of 1/4 (0.25) mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

• Qualifying Standard: Candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks in Part-A and Part-B independently to qualify.
