How to Prepare SBI PO Exam 2023
The SBI PO 2023 prelims examination consists of three sections:
- Reasoning Ability
- Quantitative Aptitude
- English Language
The duration of the examination will be one hour and the maximum marks allotted are 100.
35 marks each in reasoning and quant
30 marks for the English language.
In order to get into the mains examination, Aspirants need to crack this prelims examination first though the marks in this test will not be counted for final selection. Here we are providing study plan for the prelims examination.
Here the plan has been divided for both working aspirants as well as full-time aspirants.
For working Aspirants: Minimum 5 hours a day
- English: 1 hour
- Math: 2 hours
- Reasoning: 2 hours
Minimum 10 hours a day
- English: 2 hours
- Math: 4 hours
- Reasoning: 4 hours

In prelims 3 subjects are asked.
1.Reasoning
In reasoning ,focus on puzzles and seating arrangement more .these 2 topics account for almost 20–25 marks in SBI po .as they are time consuming ,you have to practice a lot of puzzles and seating arrangement.after that study blood relation , distance and direction ,order and ranking,inequalities,syllogism. Main focus should be on puzzles and seating arrangement.
2. Quantitative aptitude
In quantitative aptitude, focus on approximation/simplification ,number series ,quadratic equation.these topics are very easy and you can easily get around 12–13 marks from these topics.master these topics first.
Then prepare for Di and some topics like mixture and alligation,time and work,time and distance,boats and streams,probability,average etc. In mains ,only Di and data sufficiency is asked .so prepare Di well
3.English
In english , the level has gone very higher. Read the Hindu newspaper daily ,specially the editorial.note down the difficult words and revise them regularly.also read from the book word power made easy.
For general awareness ,follow the adda 247, schools360 and grade up app. after prelims, study their general awareness capsule. You will surely go through this section.
4. GK & Computer Knowledge
