The current recruitment drive aims to fill 1 existing vacancy for the Hindi Officer (Grade E) post at the IBPS headquarters in Mumbai. In addition to filling the immediate vacancy, IBPS will maintain a waitlist valid for six months to address any prospective need-based operational requirements.

IBPS Hindi Officer Jobs 2026 Education Details

Candidates must fulfill one of the following academic combinations. Degrees obtained through correspondence, distance learning, or open university systems are not eligible for this post.

• Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a major or elective subject at the Bachelor’s degree level.

• Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a major or elective subject at the Bachelor’s degree level.

• Master’s Degree in any discipline (other than Hindi/English) with Hindi as a major/elective subject and English as the medium of examination at the degree level.

• Master’s Degree in any discipline (other than Hindi/English) with English as a major/elective subject and Hindi as the medium of examination at the degree level.

• Experience & Skills: Operating proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) with typing speed in Hindi and English is mandatory. One year of translation experience (English to Hindi and vice versa) in a bank or financial institution is highly desirable.

Salary

• Basic Pay: ₹44,900/- per month.

• Approximate Monthly Emoluments: ₹91,070/- (including DA, HRA, and TA).

• Approximate Annual CTC: ₹17.39 Lakhs (includes PF contribution, medical benefits, gratuity, and performance-linked incentives).

• Note: Selected candidates must execute a service bond of ₹2 Lakhs to serve IBPS for a minimum period of three years from the date of joining.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 23 Years (as of September 1, 2026).

• Maximum Age: 30 Years (as of September 1, 2026).

• Candidates must have been born not earlier than September 2, 1996, and not later than September 1, 2003 (both dates inclusive). Age eligibility is determined strictly by the Date of Birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate.

IBPS Hindi Officer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

1. Online Examination: A 140-minute objective test featuring 200 questions for 200 marks, covering Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, and Hindi Language.

2. Skill Test & Item Writing Exercise: Evaluation of translation skills and computer typing proficiency.

3. Group Exercises: Assessment of interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Personal Interview: Final evaluation of the candidate’s suitability for the Grade E Hindi Officer role.

• Payment Mode: Online only (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card) between September 23 and October 6, 2026.

2. Locate and click on the notification link titled “Apply Online for Hindi Officer (Grade E) – Sept 2026”.

3. Click on “Click Here for New Registration” and provide your basic contact information (Name, Phone Number, and Email ID) to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.

4. Log in and systematically complete your candidate profile by entering educational records, graduation subject details, and relevant work experience.

5. Upload the mandatory scanned documents: a recent passport-size photograph, signature, left thumb impression, a handwritten declaration, a brief resume in PDF format, the 10th standard certificate, and degree/experience proofs.

6. Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹1,000/- through the integrated online payment gateway.
