INDIAN NAVY AGNIVEER (SSR) – 01/2023 BATCH
Online applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for enrolment as Agniveer (SSR) for 01/2023 (May 23) batch. The total vacancies are 1400 (including a maximum of 280 female only), will be earmarked in a state-wise manner. The eligibility criteria and broad terms and conditions are laid down herein below.

Educational Qualifications
Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Physical Standards
Qualifying in Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for selection. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk. PFT standard is as follows:-

Age Limit
The candidates should be born between 01 May 2002 – 31 Oct 2005 (Both dates inclu- sive).
Marital Status
Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrolment as Agniveer in IN. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrolment. Agniveers shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the IN. A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving a certificate of being unmarried.
Agniveers will be paid a package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid.
Seva Nidhi. Agniveers shall be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engage- ment period, as indicated below

The selection process of the Agniveer (SSR) – 01/2023 batch will include three stages i.e. Shortlisting (computer-based online examination), ‘Written Examination, PFT and Initial Medical’ and Final Recruitment Medical Examination.
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of
- Shortlisting of Candidates on the basis of 10th Marks (4 Times of State Wise Vacancies will be called for PFT/ Written Test)
- Written Exam
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Application Fee
An examination fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST has to be paid by candidate during the online application through online mode
For this entry, the candidates can apply ONLINE ONLY on the official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 08 Dec 2022 to 17 Dec 2022. The procedure is available on the Indian Navy official website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. Candidates are advised to fill up the correct details while filling the online application. Any updates/ corrections are to be carried out by the candidate before the last date of submission of the application. No further correction/ update is feasible after the last date of submission of the application. Incorrect declaration of information by candidates, identified at any stage would result in cancellation of candidature.The application may be uploaded from Common Service Centres (CSC) across the country, a fee of Rs 60 + GST. This facility is entirely optional.
