Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process comprises an Online Examination followed by a Personal Interview:
- Final Merit Weightage: 80% Online Exam + 20% Personal Interview.
- Online Exam Structure (Duration: 2 Hours | Total Marks: 100):
- For Generalist Branch Manager: English Language (25 Qs / 25 Marks) + Professional Knowledge in Banking & Finance (75 Qs / 75 Marks).
- For All Other Posts: English Language (25 Qs / 25 Marks) + Banking General Awareness (25 Qs / 25 Marks) + Post-Specific Professional Knowledge (50 Qs / 50 Marks).
- Negative Marking: Deduction of 1/4th (0.25) mark for each wrong answer.
- Qualifying Marks in Exam: Minimum 35% for UR candidates and 30% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
- Personal Interview (100 Marks): Assesses industry exposure, domain knowledge, and communication skills (Qualifying marks: 50% for UR, 45% for reserved categories).
