Education Details

  • Trade Apprentice (Chemical & Mechanical Boiler): Candidates must hold a regular 3-year B.Sc. Degree (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry) from a recognized University/Institute.

  • Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): Candidates must have a regular 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.

  • Marks Criteria: General, EWS, and OBC candidates require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, while SC/ST and PwBD candidates require 45% aggregate marks for reserved positions. Candidates with higher qualifications (like B.E./B.Tech or MBA) are strictly not eligible.

Salary

The monthly stipend payable to the engaged apprentices will be strictly according to the rates prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended), and current Corporation guidelines.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years as on September 30, 2026.
  • Maximum Age: 24 Years as on September 30, 2026 (for General and EWS category candidates).

Selection Process

Selection for these apprenticeship positions is completely merit-based, with no written test. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the descending order of aggregate percentage of marks scored in their prescribed degree or diploma qualification. Finally shortlisted candidates will undergo Document Verification and must clear a Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness examination.
