Karnataka 2nd PUC Kannada 2026-27: Overview
Starting with the new academic structure, KSEAB has introduced a 20-mark internal assessment for non-practical subjects like Kannada, adjusting the theory paper to 80 marks for regular students. Repeaters and private candidates will continue to answer a 100-mark theory paper.

Question Paper Pattern and Marks Distribution
The Karnataka 2nd PUC Kannada theory exam is divided into six distinct sections (Part A to Part F). The question paper contains 55 total questions, out of which candidates are required to answer 38 to achieve the maximum 80 marks.

For regular students, the 20 internal marks are calculated at the college level based on performance throughout the academic year:
- Unit Tests & Mid-Term Exams: 10 marks (averaged from the best of two test scores).
- Projects and Writing: 5 marks.
- Presentation: 3 marks.
- Viva Voce: 2 marks.
