Recent Update: The Karnataka CET results 2018 will be available at 1 pm today, an official notification states. Earlier it was said that the results would be announced at 11 am. Results can be accessed on the official website at 1 pm today.
The CET results were postponed due to a delay in the announcement of the CBSE Class 12 results 2018.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducted KCET 2018 from May 02 to 04, 2017. The exam was held in offline mode and candidates marked the answers on an OMR sheet. The answer key for the exam has already been released by the conducting body and now the result of KCET is awaited.

The candidates should note that the KCET 2017 result will not be announced offline. The candidates will have to download it and carry it for document verification during the counselling.
KCET 2018 Merit List
The merit list of KCET 2017 will be published on the official website, which is kea.kar.nic.in. It will state the rank allocated to candidates on the basis of KCET score and remaining criteria.

How is Merit in the KCET Result calculated?
- The expert committee will provide the final answer key which will be used during evaluation for determination of merit order.
- The engineering ranks will be assigned to the eligible candidates according to the merit list announced by KEA.
- Separate result sheets showing the engineering ranks will be published on the prescribed date.
- On submission of required documents, ranks will be assigned to all those candidates too whose results will be with-held for want of 2nd PUC / 12th std marks.
