Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2020: Karnataka Pre-University Examination Board will declare the second year pre-university PUC or Class 12 results on its official website. The exams were conducted from 4th March to 19th March 2020. The result will be announced for a total of 6,84,247 students who had appeared for the exam; out of which 54,803 are freshers and 1,05,092 are private students. The result will be announced at pue.kar.nic.in after official announcement. Students can check the result online using the necessary login credentials.

Results of the second year Pre-University Course (PUC) board exams in Karnataka would be declared on Tuesday, said state Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar on Monday.

Udupi District TOP and Bidar Least in PUC Results 2019

Last Year in 2019, Udupi District has the highest pass percentage, this year too, at 90.01%. Dakshina Kannada and Uthara Kannada districts follow with 89.92% and 71.99%. Bidar district has the lowest pass percentage at 42.05%.

The percentage of students who passed the IInd PU examinations in 2017 has reduced to 52.38% from 57.20 % in the 2016 examinations.

About 10 lakh students enroll in pre-university courses every year in Karnataka and Department of pre-university education (DPUE) offers 23 subjects, 11 languages and 50 combinations for the pre-university curriculum for class 11 and 12 students.

The Department of Pre-University, Government of Karnataka implements higher secondary education in the state. It functions under the department of primary and secondary education and has 1,202 government pre-university colleges, 637 aided pre-university colleges, 1,936 unaided pre-university colleges, 165 bifurcated pre-university colleges and 13 corporation pre-university colleges.
