A Masters degree in the concerned /allied subject from SAU/ SVU/ Deemed University or any other recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks for general category and 50% for SC/ST. 3. A Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ Allied/ relevant discipline |
| Subject Matter Specialist | 1. Good Academic record with at least 55% marks for general category and 50% for SC/ ST category at the master’s degree level in Fisheries Resource and Management, Aquaculture, Aquatic Environment Management of respective discipline from SAU/ SVU or any other recognized university. 2. NET is compulsory in a concerned/ Allied subject. NET is relaxed for candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with coursework as prescribed by the UGC regulation 2009. The candidates with a Ph.D. degree without course will not qualify for the NET exemption. 3. Knowledge of Kannada is mandatory. |

A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticultural from a recognized Agricultural University with the good academic record with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/ 10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/ 4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue). 2. | Assistant (Pay Scale Rs. 30350-58250) | 1) Must possess a degree of a recognized University established by law in India or equivalent qualification. 2) Must possess a certificate on computer Application of not less than 6 months duration from the Institutions recognized by Govt. of Karnataka/ Govt. of India. 3) Experience in Computation work and data compilation is the must. 4) Should pass Accounts Higher and Gen. Law Part I & II during the period of probation. |
