NIOS 10th 12th Fee Registration April/May 2020 Receipt Download: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released Secondary and Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) Admission Notification for Academic Year 2020-21.

Registration for April-May 2020 Examination

The schedule for registration and payment of examination fee for Secondary and Senior Secondary examination to be conducted during April-May 2020 is as under:

On-line Admission for learners who want to appear under the On Demand Examination System (ODES) of NIOS for Secondary level (Stream-3)or Sr. Secondary level (Stream-4)

Stream for On-line admission is open throughout the year for those learners who have already passed the Secondary Examination from the recognised Board and wish to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification, or learners who had appeared but could not clear, or who were eligible but could not appear in the Public Examination of the Secondary level from any recognized Board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS for the Secondary level only and entry requirement of age, address proof as per table 3. T

he learners may upload the failed marksheet/Admit Card (Hall Ticket) alongwith relevant/supporting document and photograph on appropriate space available in the Online Admission Form for confirmation of the admission. The learners who had applied for Transfer of Credit (TOC) have to send original failed marksheet mentioning the Reference Number on the back of Mark Sheet to Online Cell, NIOS, Room No. 408, A-24-25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, NOIDA-201309, Uttar Pradesh.

The Subjects available for appearing through ODES at Secondary level are Hindi (201), English (202), Sanskrit (209), Mathematics (211), Science & Technology (212), Social Science (213), Economics (214), Business Studies (215), Home Science (216), Psychology (222), Indian Culture & Heritage (223), Painting (225) and Data Entry Operations (229).

Eligibility Criteria

Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the Secondary Course is 14 years as on 31st July 2019 (born on or before 31.07.2005)
A learner who has passed class VIII and has valid proof of attaining 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course.
A learner giving a self-certificate “I have studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course” is also eligible for admission to the Secondary Course.
A learner who had studied at the secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance.

Sr. Secondary: The minimum age to take admission in the Senior Secondary Course is 15 years. As on 31st July, 2019 (born on or before 31.07.2004)
In order to take admission in the Senior Secondary course, the learner must have passed the Secondary course from a recognised Board.

Fee Structure for Online Admission of Stream-1

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will not entertain any online Chargeback.

Supporting Documents required

The learner has to be ready with the Scanned copy/soft copy (jpg, jpeg files) of the given below documents which will be required to be uploaded while registering for the Admission to Secondary and Senior Secondary courses

Valid identity proof (like Aadhaar Card or Passport or Ration card or etc.)
Valid proof of Date of Birth (like Aadhaar Card with date of birth printed on it in the dd/mm/yyyy format, Birth Certificate etc.)
A valid proof of Residence (like Aadhaar Card with complete address printed on it, valid Passport etc.).
Address proof i.e. Aadhaar Card/Water Bill/Electricity Bill/Voter ID/Ration Card/Indian

Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head, if living in rented accommodation – copy of any proof of permanent address along with present Rented Agreement

Transfer of Credit (TOC)

Ex-Secondary/Senior Secondary learners of the following Boards of School Education who have passed in at least one subject, but have not qualified in the course, may seek admission in the respective course at NIOS and avail facility of TOC.

A learner should seek Transfer of Credits (TOC) at the time of admission in the subjects which are included in NIOS scheme of studies.

The learners who had applied for Transfer of Credit (TOC) have to send original failed marksheet mentioning the Reference Number on the back of Mark Sheet to the concerned Regional Centre.

Instructions for online Admission to Secondary and Sr. Secondary courses in NIOS for the year 2018-19

  • After successful submission of Online Application Form for Admission to Stream 1 Block 1, you will get a confirmation on your email address and Mobile Number submitted during registration process.
  • You can make the Payment during the registration process or you can also make the payment later by login into Student Panel using the user name and password sent to you in your email.
  • After successful payment of the Admission fee, you will be communicated through email with payment receipt. You can also print/download your payment receipt and your Application Form from your dashboard after login.
