NIOS Class 10, 12 Exam Pattern

Class 10 (Secondary)

  • Total Marks: 100 per subject.

  • Components:

    • Theory: 60 marks.

    • Practical/Internal Assessment: 40 marks.

  • Passing Criteria: Minimum 33% in both theory and practical components separately.

Class 12 (Senior Secondary)

  • Total Marks: 100 per subject.

  • Components:

    • Theory: 60 marks.

    • Practical/Internal Assessment: 40 marks.

  • Passing Criteria: Minimum 33% in both theory and practical components separately.

Note: Practical examinations are compulsory for subjects that involve lab work or project work.

How to Download the NIOS Class 10, 12 Admit Card 2026

  1. Visit the Official Portal at sdmis.nios.ac.in/search/hall-ticket.
  2. Enter the 12-digit enrollment number.
  3. Choose ‘Theory Examination’ from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. Admit card will be displayed; download and take a printout for future reference.

Ensure all details on the admit card are correct. In case of discrepancies, contact your respective Regional Centre immediately.
