Quota Allocation for Diploma & Graduate Slots
For both Diploma and Graduate apprenticeship positions, training slots are allocated under three specific quotas:
- 40% Seats: Reserved for Wards of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of the Barsingsar Project.
- 10% Seats: Reserved for Wards of NLCIL Employees.
- 50% Seats: Open Competition Seats for candidates across Rajasthan.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
Trade Apprentices: Candidates must have passed the ITI examinations (NCVT) in the respective trade from a government-recognized Institute.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A Full-Time Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized Institution, State Council, or Board of Technical Education is required.
Graduate (Engineering) Apprentices: Must hold a Full-Time Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in the relevant discipline.
Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices: Must have a Full-Time B.Com or BBA Degree from a recognized university.
Note: Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Age Limit & Other Requirements:
Minimum Age: Candidates should have completed 18 years of age.
Maximum Age: Candidates should not have completed 35 years of age.
Domicile: Only candidates hailing from the State of Rajasthan are eligible to apply.
Experience Restriction: Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training previously or possess one year or more of job experience.
Salary / Stipend Details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend during their one-year training period:

Selection Process
The selection will be strictly based on the percentage or total marks scored by the candidates in their qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / B.E / B.Tech / B.Com / BBA).
In case two or more candidates score the same percentage at the cut-off level, the senior-most candidate (based on date of birth) will be prioritized for selection.
Overstatement of marks or any misrepresentation in the qualifying examination will lead to direct disqualification.

Navigate to the CAREER page, click on the Trainee & Apprentices tab, and select Advt. No. BP 01/2026.
Ensure you have a valid and active Apprentice Registration/Enrolment Number on the NAPS/NATS portal and that your profile is 100% updated.
Fill out the online registration-cum-application form between 15.07.2026 and 03.08.2026.
After successfully submitting it online, take a printout of the registration-cum-application form.
Sign the printed form and attach self-attested copies of all the necessary certificates (such as 10th/12th mark sheets, Degree/Diploma/ITI certificates, Aadhaar Card, Community Certificate, format showing the method of arriving at the percentage of marks, etc.).
Send the hard copy by post to: The Project Head / Barsingsar Project, NLC India Limited, Administrative Building, Barsingsar, Bikaner (District), Rajasthan-334402. Alternatively, drop it in the collection box at Barsingsar Thermal Power Station (BTPS), Gate No. 2. Ensure the documents reach on or before 10.08.2026, 05:00 pm.
