The commission has announced a total of 124 vacancies for specialised Group-C roles. These positions are distributed among the Water Resources department, the Directorate of Fisheries, and the State Forensic Science Laboratory, with specific quotas reserved for women candidates in each category.

OSSC CHSL 2026 Education Details

• Amin: Must have passed +2 in Arts, Science, or Commerce (or equivalent) and possess a certificate in basic computer skills.

• Junior Fisheries Technical Assistant: Requires a Vocational +2 in Fisheries from a recognized CHSE/University and proficiency in swimming. If vocational candidates are unavailable, +2 Science candidates will be eligible.

OSSC CHSL 2026 Selection Process
