OSSSC Radiographer Recruitment 2026 Apply Online for 240 Group C Posts

The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has released a recruitment notification to fill 240 District Cadre Group-C Radiographer vacancies in different districts of Odisha. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the OSSSC recruitment portal from 31 August 2026 to 23 September 2026.

OSSSC Radiographer Salary

Selected candidates for the Radiographer post will receive pay in the Pay Scale of ₹25,500–₹81,100 under Pay Matrix Level-7, Cell-01, as specified in the recruitment notification.

OSSSC Radiographer Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age and educational qualifications to apply for the recruitment.

Age Limit (as on 28.08.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 42 years
  • Age Relaxations:

    • SC / ST / SEBC / Women: Relaxation of 5 years
    • PwD Candidates: Relaxation of 10 years (cumulative up to 15 years for SC/ST/SEBC PwD)
    • Contractual Radiographers (OSH&FW): Upper age limit up to 45 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation by total period of military service rendered

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed:

  • +2 Science or equivalent examination; and

  • Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) or Bachelor in Medical Radiation Technology (BMRT) from a recognised institution, as specified in the notification.

Candidates must also have the required registration with the Radiographers Council in the State of Odisha. The registration should be valid as on the date of submission of the online application.

Odia Language Requirement

Candidates must also fulfil the prescribed Odia language qualification. The notification provides several ways of meeting this requirement, including passing Odia as a language subject in specified school examinations or passing the prescribed Odia language test conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.

OSSSC Radiographer Application Fee

The examination duration will be 2 hours. The notification also specifies negative marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The minimum qualifying marks are prescribed as 35% for candidates belonging to UR category and 30% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD and Ex-Servicemen categories, subject to the conditions in the notification.
