Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (As on 18.09.2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years for all categories.
- Maximum Age: 35 years for all categories.
- Age Relaxation: For Ex-Servicemen candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by the total period of military service rendered plus 3 years.
2. Educational Qualification & Experience
A. For Frash Post:
- Must possess knowledge of Hindi and regional language.
- Valid proof of Date of Birth: Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths.
B. For Driver Post:
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Punjabi or Hindi as one of the subjects in the Matriculation examination.
- Driving Licence: Must hold a valid licence for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in driving a car.
- Disqualification Clause: Must not have been convicted of any offence related to rash or negligent driving.

Application fees must be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card (transaction charges extra):

Dependents of Ex-Servicemen disabled or deceased during active operations are exempted from the application fee for the Frash post upon submission of requisite proof.
Selection Process
Selection Process for Frash:
- Interview (50 Marks): Divided into 25 marks for Job Suitability and 25 marks for Etiquettes/Manners.
- Physical Endurance Test (PET): Candidates equal to 4 times the advertised vacancies based on interview merit are called for PET (Qualifying in nature):
- 800m Race: Male (270–470 sec), Female (290–490 sec) based on age brackets.
- Long Jump: 3 attempts allowed based on age-wise distance criteria.
- High Jump: 3 attempts allowed based on age-wise height criteria.
- Final Merit List: Prepared strictly based on marks scored in the Interview among candidates who qualify the PET.
Selection Process for Driver:
- Shortlisting / Screening: Shortlisting criteria may be decided depending on the total applications received.
- Practical Test-cum-Interview: Assesses driving skills, vehicle handling, and suitability.
- Trial Period: Selected candidates must complete a designated trial period on daily wager remuneration approved by the DC, Chandigarh before final regular appointment.
