Rajasthan CET Exam Details & Pattern
The written examination will assess candidates across various disciplines to determine their eligibility.
Total Questions: 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Total Marks: 240 Marks (Each question carries 2 marks)
Exam Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
Negative Marking: $1/3$ of the total marks for each incorrect answer.
OMR Option Rule: Each question will feature 5 options (A, B, C, D, E). If a candidate chooses not to attempt a question, they must darken option ‘E’. Failure to fill any option will lead to a $1/3$ mark deduction for up to 10% of questions. Leaving more than 10% of questions completely blank will result in disqualification.
Minimum Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must secure at least 40% marks to qualify. SC/ST candidates receive a 5% relaxation, bringing their minimum qualifying score to 35%.

Rajasthan CET Eligibility Details
To sit for the Common Eligibility Test, candidates must fulfill the primary criteria defined below:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary (12th standard) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
Appearing Candidates: Those currently pursuing or in the final year of their Senior Secondary education are also permitted to apply. However, they must acquire the formal educational qualification prior to the main recruitment exams conducted by specific departments.
Nationality: Must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee settled in India before January 1, 1962.
Age Limit
The age computations will officially be verified as of January 1, 2027:

Upper Age Relaxations:
General Category Female Candidates: 5 years relaxation.
SC / ST / OBC / MBC / EWS Male Candidates (Rajasthan Residents): 5 years relaxation.

Ex-Servicemen: Maximum upper age relaxation up to 50 years (55 years where experience is essential).

Note: Outstation candidates belonging to reserved categories of other states will be treated as General candidates and must pay ₹600/-.
