Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed their Graduation from a recognized University or Institute as on 01.04.2026.
Salary / Stipend
The selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- for the engagement period of one year. They are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 20 years and 28 years of age as on 01.04.2026 (born not later than 01.04.2006 and not earlier than 02.04.1998). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) as per Government of India guidelines.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Online Written Test: An objective exam assessing General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
- Test of Local Language: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the specified local language of the state applied for, unless they have a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet evidencing they studied it.
- Medical Examination: Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: How to Apply
- First, candidates must mandatorily register on the NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- After NAPS registration, visit the official SBI careers website to apply.
- Open the appropriate Online Application Form available under ‘Current Openings’.
- Fill in the application carefully and register by generating a provisional registration number and password.
- Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per the specified guidelines.
- Pay the application fee (if applicable) through the integrated online payment gateway using a debit card, credit card, or internet banking.
- Submit the application and take a printout of the system-generated online application form and e-receipt for future reference.
