Eligibility Criteria for RRCSR Apprentice Jobs 2018
Essential Qualification
Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Mechanic, Diesel, Mmv(Mechanic Motor Vehicle)
1.Passed 10th Class Examination under 10+2 system of educational or its equivalent and
2.Passed ITI course in relevant trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate.
Mechanic (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
1.Passed 10th Class Examination with Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics under the 10+2 system of educational or its equivalent and
2.Passed ITI course in Mechanic (Refrigeration & Air conditioning) trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate
Electronics Mechanic
1.Passed 10th Class Examination under 10+2 system in Mathematics and Physics, Chemistry or its equivalent and
2.Passed ITI course in Electronics Mechanic or Mechanic (Radio and T.V) trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate
Welder
1.Passed 8th Class Examination and
2. Passed ITI course in Welder trade in Govt. Recognized ITI & should possess NCVT Certificate
PASAA (Programming And System Administration Assistant)
1. Passed 10th Class Examination under 10+2 system of educational or its equivalent and
2. NTC issued by NCVT in the trade of COPA (Computer Operator And Programming Assistant)
Welder (Non-ITI Candidate)
Passed 8th Class Examination
Fitter (Non-ITI Candidate)

1st year of training ₹5700 p.m. and ₹5900 p.m. (Mechanic DSL)

3rd year of training ₹7350 p.m. and ₹7550 p.m.(Mechanic DSL)
Selection Process
- Height : 137 Cms.,
- Weight : 25.4 Kgs.
- Chest Measurement : Expansion should not be less than 5 Cms
Application Fee
- General/UR/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 100
- SC/ST/PH/Women candidates don’t have to pay any fee.
How to Apply for Southern Railway Apprentice Latest Recruitment 2018
Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format (attached below) to The Work Shop Personnel Officer, Office of the Chief Work Shop Manager, Signal & Telecommunication Work Shop, Southern Railway – Podanur Coimbatore – District Tamil Nadu – 641 023 on or before 22 Feb 2018 05:15 PM, along with attested copies of following documents:
(i) Copy of Aadhaar card duly mentioning the contact Mobile Number on the top right side.
(ii) Necessary copy of certificate confirming pass in the course as on the date of the notification, mark list, Provisional Certificate/ National Trade Certificate (NTC) certificate/issued by NCVT/SCVT in the case of ITI,
iii) Proof for date of birth
(iv) Employment Exchange Registration Number issued by the State Government
(v) Cast certificate
(vi) Persons with Disabilities: He/ She should enclose a Disability Certificate issued by the competent Medical Board.
(vii) One Conduct certificate from Gazetted Officer
(viii) Other qualification /Experience if any.
